HISTORY
Finca El Molar is a family project located in Fuentealbilla (Albacete), at the heart of the Manchuela PDO. Today led by Rus Jiménez as the next generation, the project is rooted in respect for the vineyard and a commitment to continuing a way of understanding wine that is deeply connected to its place of origin.
Our vineyards lie between 650 and 750 metres above sea level, on limestone and alluvial soils. Altitude, wide day–night temperature contrasts and the influence of the Solano wind define the character of Manchuela and promote slow, balanced ripening with a clearly defined varietal profile.
We work mainly with local grape varieties, under organic viticulture and soil-regenerative practices such as permanent cover crops and reduced tillage. Our aim is to accompany the vineyard so that each plot can express its own unique character.
In the winery, we follow a minimal-intervention approach, vinifying each parcel separately to respect the identity of the fruit. The result is a range of honest wines that reflect the climate, the soils and the distinctiveness of our surroundings.
