A skin-contact Macabeo, expressive and profound, reviving the tradition of Manchuela’s brisado wines, with texture and strong personality.
Tasting Notes
Amber-yellow in colour. Complex aromas of dried fruits and citrus peel. On the palate, depth and silky texture, with a long, persistent finish marked by notes of dried herbs.

Exposure: North–South
Winemaking
Light pre-fermentation cold maceration followed by temperature-controlled fermentation on the skins, and a subsequent post-fermentation maceration. The wine is then racked and aged for several months before bottling.
The Variety
A grape with medium-sized, compact bunches, late ripening and moderate acidity, capable of providing structure and complexity when vinified with skin contact.

White wines macerated and fermented with their skins are now commonly known as orange wines (or skin-contact wines). This style has deep historical roots and was traditionally known as vino brisado.
